Louet Jane loom
Louet Jane loom
The Jane table loom is available with eight shafts in 40 cm (15 3/4”), 50cm (19 3/4") and 70 cm (27 5/8”) weaving widths. Jane can be folded down compactly. A floor stand and second warp beam is available separately. A sturdy carry bag is also available for the 40cm width loom - this size also has a carry handle.
Jane has been designed after consultation with weavers. To minimise wear on the cords they run over rollers. The overhead beater stays out of the way when throwing the shuttle and can easily be flipped out of the way with the reed insitu to allow easy access to the heddles whilst threading.
Jane is made of lacquered beech and has a built in metric raddle. The loom is partly assembled and comes complete with a stainless steel reed 40-10 (metric), 200/400 Texsolv heddles (205 mm), tie-up and lease sticks and sixteen warp sticks.
The Louet Jane 40cm has 25 heddles per shaft (8x25)
The Louet Jane 50cm comes with 300 heddles (37 per shaft approx)
The Louet Jane 70cm has 50 heddles per shaft (8x50)
