Description

EF honex sh 15" closed

End-feed shuttles are so called because the yarn feeds from the end of a static pirn instead of feeding from the side of a rotating bobbin. They deliver the weft yarn at a constant tension without the weaver having to manipulate each pick.

The pirn for use in the 15" end feed shuttle is 8" plastic pirn

The Honex tensioning system can deliver a more precise weft tension and may be preferable for ultra-fine, stretch or flyaway yarns. Each shuttle comes with an Allen key to adjust the tensioning.

Like all other Bluster Bay shuttles this shuttle is crafted from a beautiful wood and has a silky smooth finish.

If the weight of your shuttle is important to you the list below (put together by Bluster Bay) will help you to make an informed choice. Please bear in mind that as wood is a natural product shuttles of the same size and style will vary slightly in weight - their colour and figure will also vary even when cut from the same tree!
