Covid-19 update...

We are open to personal shoppers again (Mon - Sat). Welcome back!

Given current guidelines for social distancing we are monitoring shop entry (please ring the bell when you arrive) and will ask customers to queue outside if there is a need so that all staff and customers can move around confidently inside. For everyone's well-being we will ask you to use the hand sanitiser on entry. We thank everyone for their cooperation as we find a new way of working.

We are more than happy to do click and collect for orders placed online or by phone, but if you would rather not come in we are shipping orders out promptly.

We have an extensive range of materials and equipment for the whole world of fibre art and textile crafts - yarns for weavers and knitters; merino tops; plant, animal and 'other' fibres for spinners and felters; fancy threads for embroiderers ... the list goes on. And then there are the shuttles, high and low-tech looms, tapestry frames, spinning wheels, carders, niddy-noddies, tassel moulds and a host of other equipment, large and small... plus books and magazines covering a wide range of textile topics to instruct and inspire both children and adults. Most of our yarns and fibres are available in really small quantities, so you needn't worry about breaking the bank! Our immediate workshop programme and regular weaving classes have been postponed until it is safe to run them again, but if you are interested in a particular workshop, let us know and we are happy to let you know when we can start planning again with certainty.
