Welcome to the online home of The Handweavers Studio & Gallery, a treasure trove for weavers, spinners, felters, dyers, embroiderers - in short, for everyone who loves threads and fibres!

We have an extensive range of materials and equipment for the whole world of fibre art and textile crafts - yarns for weavers and knitters; merino tops, plant, animal and other types of fibres for spinners and felters, fancy threads for embroiderers, and the list goes on. We also stock a great selection of shuttles, high and low-tech looms, tapestry frames, spinning wheels, carders, niddy-noddies, tassel moulds and a host of other equipment, large and small, plus books and magazines covering a wide range of textile topics to instruct and inspire both children and adults.

There are always interesting items on display, or a special exhibition. So come and browse - in the shop or online - and allow your creative juices full rein. Most of our yarns and fibres are available in really small quantities, so you needn't worry about breaking the bank!
