Handweavers latest update 09/04/21

In line with the current Government roadmap our 'bricks & mortar' shop will be opening again on Monday 12th April, we look forward to welcoming you back!

With the aim of keeping our staff and customers safe we will continue to observe covid secure guidelines and entry will be monitored to ensure social distancing can be maintained. We will be open Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm

If you are not yet ready to visit in person we will be continuing with click & collect plus prompt despatch of online orders. We have noticed that Royal Mail is not yet 'back to normal' so if you have a deadline to meet we suggest sending by Special Delivery with tracking and guaranteed next day delivery, please put items in your online basket then call us to arrange this with us.

For customers living in the EU and having orders shipped to an EU address UK VAT is removed from your order when you enter your country on the shipping page. You will be contacted by your country's customs if there is a need to charge for local taxes.

We have an extensive range of materials and equipment for the whole world of fibre art and textile crafts - yarns for weavers and knitters; merino tops; plant, animal and 'other' fibres for spinners and felters; fancy threads for embroiderers ... the list goes on. And then there are the shuttles, high and low-tech looms, tapestry frames, spinning wheels, carders, niddy-noddies, tassel moulds and a host of other equipment, large and small... plus books and magazines covering a wide range of textile topics to instruct and inspire both children and adults. Most of our yarns and fibres are available in really small quantities, so you needn't worry about breaking the bank!

Our workshop programme and regular weaving classes are still 'on hold' until we reach the point in the roadmap where we can plan again with certainty. If you are interested in a particular workshop let us know and we are happy to add you to our waiting list. When we have dates available for booking they will appear on our workshops page.
